It's frustrating for me to continue to invest my time and feelings into false hope disguised as something promising. Even more frustrating when things can go from seamlessly beautiful one day to broken and blurred the next. I feel like I'm the only advocate of "full discloser" left. I swear I don't ask for much, but just to know my efforts aren't a disposable venture. As I make myself vulnerable to public by sharing these blanket uncensored feelings, in return it feels rewarding to just expunge these thoughts from my conscious. People don't realize this, but at times loneliness is underrated.

So the first of November has came and is already gone. Look forward to changes people! I'm currently working with a fellow blogger to revamp the BWB visuals! New layout, new interactions, new interviews, new inspirations, new love, the whole nine. I'll be utilizing my YouTube channel more (bidismalls). You guys seem to like my opinion on trivial things, lol. Don't be afraid to comment with suggestions on rant topics, etc!

While doing this blog transformation I chose to deactivate my Twitter and Facebook. Just to give me a detox from the growing dependency I had on those networks. It's very refreshing, I'd certainly advise it if you want some time away from it all. But I'll be back kiddies.

She's thinking I should go from a dark maroon-ish pink and then if I still want, into a purple. It's almost a month since she's gone. This photo was taken by my Aunt during my Grandmother's one year reunion of her defeating cancer. I don't think I can count a single day it feels surreal, or a single day that I'd give anything to have a piece of her back. My grandmother was the only person that ever called me by my whole first name (Folasade). Thus I am recreating my blog, substance wise and visually. I am reconstructing my blog in her honor. It makes me feel closer some how to say every post is "From Folasade". Which is from the heart, which is from Grandma. Stay tuned.

I've been doing really well when it comes to setting goals and following through with them. With that being said I made another list of 5 things I need to accomplish and obtain by January 1, 2011. No need for this list to be pushed back to the near year. Because I want these things effective in use come 2011. This is a great way to keep goals realistic for yourself. The month prior to when you want your goals effective write down your very own 5 things. Let me know how it works out for you! Here's mine:

1. The metallic gold slider case. (Made by INCASE for the iPhone 4)
2. NIKON D7000. It is about $1,400 and I'm planning on doing a lot of traveling + more in the future months.
3. "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer, because I stay true to my "Book-A-Month" commitment.
4. CALCAGNI wedges by Aldo. Great addition for every dress up, or dress down option heels.
5. The 30 days for $30 membership from NYSC because I need to tighten up my body while in hopes of a healthier diet.

Since I did not go to school this semester, I've been looking for subtle ways to keep my brain challenged and active. I chose to read a book a month, simple and effective. The book I chose was actually just laying around my job's stock room. I picked it up and got sucked in. Its a novel about a family effected by their husband, father, grandson, or co-worker dying in the 9/11 accident. It's kind of a mystery as well, and it has the most sporadic facts fixed in miscellaneous places.

For the longest I've been wanting to try something new with my hair besides the blunt band and long tracks. I've been looking into colors within the hue of a Peacock. The blues, greens, and bronze, are all rich yet not too over compensating. I've chosen a few images of the colors I've been flipping through.

Throughout my teenage years, life was always about the label. It went from whom as the newest Pepe outfit with the Jordan's (in the urban neighborhoods at least), to the latest Alexander Wang with the Giuseppe's. With the obvious style transformation over the past years, I realized that some of these things fade. Sure, they're amazing to flip and browse through over the various fashion blogs, hell, even better to own. But what does it all mean after you piled up all these things? What's the value in them internally?

To me I think it's way past the label in itself, it's the feeling you have when you wear it. I remembered a vital point after watching Sex & the City for the millionth time tonight. "Love is the one label that never goes out of style." Immediately picking up my laptop to write about this, I chose to share with You, the world wide web instead. The following people over the past few months have been my great friends. Each have bestowed some inspiration on me, as well as we do upon one another.
